Aestetika Villa Sanur - 3-Min Walk to Beach

Honestly everything - the outside area with the pool and the bedrooms were exquisite!

This property is amazing, we loved the location amongst local families, the roosters and dogs reminded us of home. Literally is a 3 minute walk to beach and even less to supermarket, warungs, coffee and true Bali shops. Edy was excellent, recommending klepon desert places, making sure place was clean and towels refreshed. The villa itself was so good, the pool, the kitchen the nedrooms and the washing machine is a valuable extra. Coffee machine, good gas to cook on, comfortable beds. The styling of the villa is great and stunning to relax in. We will definitely come back

The only thing I would add is higher screening on the front gate, just for a bit of extra privacy

Edy our Villa Manager was there to meet me - fantastic service, fabulous breakfast delivered to me each morning in a beautiful basket. Location was a short walk to the beach and a quiet location.

There was nothing I didn't like - just wanted to stay there longer.

My husband and I and my parents stayed here in the 2 bedroom villa for 9 days in May 2024. We were met by Edy (the property manager) on arrival who showed us all the features of the villa. Edy was always contactable via WhatsApp and would be at the villa in around 5 minutes if we needed him. We had lost electricity and he was there to advise it was in the whole area. When we mentioned that the Booking.com ad stated there was a microwave (there wasn't one), Edy turned up that afternoon with a brand new microwave on the back of his bike. I read on the reviews prior to arriving in Bali that the bed was very hard. The next day Edy had bought 2 new mattress toppers and so the beds were very comfortable. You could choose how often to have the cleaner attend to clean and make the beds. Every second day was enough. There is a full size fridge/freezer, a washing machine, clothes airer, toaster, coffee pod machine, a filtered hot and cold water machine and a lovely pool to cool down in. A short walk down the lane to the road for restaurants and shopping with Popular supermarket just down the road. Great size bathrooms.

Probably needs more shade over the sun loungers and fans above the shaded sitting area (Edy was going to look into this). Could do with a table to put the suitcases on so you are not leaving them on the floor. The temperature in the shower is hit and miss - sometimes no hot water and sometimes too hot. Edy was going to have a look at adjusting the set temperature in the water. No hot water in the kitchen for washing dishes. A lot of ants around the kitchen but a pest controller attends fortnightly to fumigate which did the reduce the number of ants. Good idea to keep all food in the fridge, even if not needed to be in the fridge. Outside the villa a continuous accumulation of rubbish which we were advised gets removed every 2 weeks. Neighbouring dogs noisy as you are staying next door to locals. If you like planes going overhead, great as you are below the flight path. Beware - the path around the pool very slippery when wet - we would place 2 pool towels around where you get out of the pool to rectify this (would recommend an anti-slip runner from pool to kitchen).

Design & style of the Villa Manager greeted us with a bouquet of flowers for our anniversary, a nice touch, thank you. Breakfasts are sensational. Shower was great.

Mattress was far too hard, 3 nights with less than 8 hours sleep in total. Pool steps & adjoining path are major hazard when wet, I slipped & fell when stepping down on to path because of the slipperiness. No steps in pool, you need to be pretty fit to jump up out . TV…if you don’t have a subscription to any of the channels forget about watching. Cobwebs in bathroom. No drain in shower, just a cracked tile for water to drain out.
