Erne Getaway No.8 Brand new 1 bed apartment

The place was cozy, clean and welcoming on arrival. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, we made use of the oven, hob, microwave and hair dryer. The open plan set up was modern and spacious and we had ample room to store our belongings. The apartment was in easy walking distance to the town.

We thought the bathroom could use a bin and shelf for storage. However we did appreciate the rubbish bags and key to the bin store to keep the place tidy. We knew on booking that parking was across the road at the garden centre, however the road was extremely busy and quite dodgy to cross as cars came very fast from all directions. We found it best to pull up on the kerb to load the car as running back and forth was not an option.

Very clean and cosy

Right on a main road near a bend, found it difficult at times crossing the road to get to the car park. I did not like that the bedroom was open plan, no door separating the bed space from living and kitchen area. There can be some road traffic noise at time.

Property was spacious and clean well equipped and came a few nice extras, washing up liquid, tea towels etc It is a good location for the town

The only real issue with the property is the road noise, it was 24 hours a day and I ended having to buy ear plugs to sleep as the property is open plan, so no way of closing the noise out when you try to sleep
