2km to Chester Races! Sleeps 6 by Restfully

Such a lovely house - clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Parking on the drive outside was perfect, To be honest it was like home from home. Only a 10 minute drive to Chester city centre.

Minor things - Maybe a complimentary pint of milk would have been nice along with some coffee - after a 4 hour drive we didn't feel like going out to look for these. A welcome file would also be handy with instructions re heating and how the tv works and also ideas about local restaurants and taxi services.

Nice quiet location. Everything we needed for short break.

Great location, quiet neighbourhood, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We liked it! 3 clean comfy bedrooms, a large bathroom, all very comfortable. The host was responsive, and we enjoyed staying there.

The hoover doesn’t work well, and the cleaning could’ve been a little more thorough, but not enough to mention at the time. The heating was hard to manage, either it was too hot or not hot enough. The radiator temp valves were a bit hit and miss. But again we were fine, so this is just for info & not a complaint.

Location was very convenient, and very quiet. Pool table in the conservatory was a great bonus.

Beds were very uncomfortable, one was broken with a piece of plywood under the mattress to ‘fix’ it. Place wasn’t very clean, with sauce on the counter top and edges of the table, and broken glass all around the edges of the kitchen floor.
