Sunshine's house near the beach, 10 min from the airport

Close to the airport and the host was attentive to all our questions. It was okay for one night stay.

Location was hard to find, some cleanliness issues and the apartment had a strange smell.

We arrived at Athens International airport around 1AM local time. The host arrived on time to pick us up from the airport as we took the airport shuttle service. The house owner was very friendly to us, especially the lady. A host like this has never been seen before in my life. They provided excellent hospitality. They were so kind and helpful. If you want to see all of Athens, I recommend staying in this house, and the beach is only 5 minutes away.

The owners were absolutely lovely, very friendly and kind. They offered to collect us from the airport and return us there extremely early (3am) the next morning for a fraction of the cost of taxis.

The place was run down, there were two air con outlets but only one had a controller and it did not do anything other than push hot air around. The bathroom was damp, with open holes straight outside. The location was far from any restaurants or cafes and the kitchen area was very poor.

Excellent place to have a peaceful time. The beach was within a walkable distance. The apartment is closer to the airport and we mainly stayed there for the proximity to the Athens Zoological park and the aquapolis water theme park. We also witnessed the fantastic Designer outlet in Athens near those places. The apartment was super clean when we arrived and the instructions were pretty straightforward. The contact person, Sandy helped us through WhatsApp with all the things that needed to be done. The WIFI was excellent, there was hot water. With a big balcony and a peaceful atmosphere, you could totally relax. By mistake, I took the key with me instead of dropping there at the apartment as advised in my checkout guidelines. However, the person in charge helped me hand it over to the airport authorities as I had already passed Immigration and security and I was able to hand it over in time. Throughout the entire process, Sandy was very calm and did not get irritated although the mistake was mine. This is top-notch customer care and support, one that needs genuine appreciation! I would definitely be visiting this place again, next time for a longer stay!

There were hardly any restaurants nearby. If you don't have a rental car or some sort of transport, it will be really difficult to get to places to eat. However, if you have a car, this place is a no-brainer to select.

The flat is close to the airport that was really nice if you need a place to stay before a flight

Please, don't do the airport shuttle.. this is the owner who drives you, (quite expensive in relation with the taxi fees..). She got late, use her phone during driving.. we didn't feel safe. We were not feeling safe around the flat, I would never have walked alone by night..
