Orchid Suite, 1 bedroom, sleeps 4, pool & BBQ, Pre-Renovation Summer Sale

Needed one night to stay as our flight home was cancelled until the next day and found this listing on booking.com. It was a lovely suite. We didn’t use it for our short stay but the kitchen was great with nice appliances and very clean. The upstairs bedroom was large with a large comfy bed. The lanai off the bedroom was fantastic with a great ocean view. We didn’t use the pool but the pool area looked nice. Good wi-fi. Easy parking.

Was hard for us to find as no sign or address out front and Google maps kept sending us to the property next door. The property manager who was very nice and showed us to our suite said the sign had been stolen so not their fault.

Finding the building was a challenge in the dark - instructions were not very clear and building number is not clearly marked. The building is located on a small side street with a number of other vacation properties, making it hard to identify. (Also, there was a discrepancy between booking.com statement and amount charged to my credit card which I could not resolve with the host and will need to address with booking.com)

Loved the location, and the exclusivity of a smaller property. The staff was very hands on and pleasant to speak with. The outdoor space was particularly amazing - beautiful pool, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen/bar, etc. We also enjoyed waking up to our ocean view from our upstairs balcony. The Orchid suite is officially our new favourite place to stay in Maui.

10am check-out. Would prefer the standard 11am check-out.
