My stay at the banana hostel couldn't have been better. Ayoub and Mohammed are excellent hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and add considerably to the experience. They are also full of information and advice if needed. I felt safe in and around the hostel which is really well located in an interesting area of Tangier. There may be little things are are not quite perfect, but honestly, if you are so fussy and critical, get a life. There are more important issues in this world. I will definitely return.

On reading my review it says I stayed in the female dorm. So my only issue is with booking.com who frequently get these things wrong. The stress of arriving in a city late at night with nowhere to stay could be avoided by using a better platform. Of course there was no problem at the hostel and they honoured my original booking of male dorm. Five stars to the hostel. Zero stars to the platform.
