HT - Casa del Poeta nel cuore di Padova

Es el mejor apartamento en el que he estado, enhorme. Elegante, clasico y con muchisimo gusto decorado. Situado en pleno corazon de Padova y Matteo es un crack.

The location of the flat is excellent; right in the heart of the Padova city centre, and a 5-minute walk to be in the historic piazzas. The flat itself is lovely and huge; an attic apartment with exposed wood beams that's very attractive, including a lovely large dining table, spacious kitchen, cozy work/library corner, two very big bathrooms and two great bedrooms. Aesthetically, it's a trip... like staying at your wealthy old professor uncle's place. Amenities were great, including a washing machine, smart TV, and aircon. Check-in and check-out was super easy: all digital, with access to both the building front door and the apartment door via smartphone that worked seamlessly. Communication with Matteo was easy and very helpful, both before and during our stay. Grazie!

A big drawback for us was that there is no aircon in the bedrooms (only in the hallway which leads to the rooms). Because it's on the top floor of the building, the flat will heat up during the summer days. Even running the hallway aircon and keeping bathroom doors closed was not enough to funnel cool air into the bedrooms, such that our kids ended up sleeping on the living room sofas rather than on their bed. I think provision of a couple oscillating fans would be sufficient to cool the bedrooms down. Also, a note that there is one flight of stairs to climb on foot as the building lift stops at the floor below; no problem for us, but for those guests with elderly or young ones, this could be annoying.

Putting non slip mats in the baths would be useful

The apartment is beautiful and big, and Matteo gave us all the info we needed and The location is perfect.
