Galaxidaki 1857 guesthouse

Location was great, very clean, easy access and great communication with the property. Pet friendly.

The whole place is small, cramped kitchen & bedroom. Bathroom is an ok size but the shower cubicle is also very small. (we are average size people). No space to sit to relax or read a book, only on the bed. If you stay more than 2 nights and would be preparing more than a coffee in the kitchen, I'd suggest going elsewhere due to the space. We stayed off season, space is maybe not such an issue in summer as you are able to sit outside in the courtyard. (Ground floor apartment)

Parking was a challenge but was able to work it out. Tight stairs.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the owner was helpful and answered our requests quickly.

To get hot water, you need to turn on the heater ahead of time, and even then, there is not enough water for two hot showers. The double room with a balcony is advertised as having sea views, but you can barely see the water, mostly other houses in the village. The room is not cleaned at all during the stay, unless you request something specifically.

Abbiamo scelto la camera king con vista mare...... era davvero molto bella!! Un piacere soggiornarvi, arredata con gusto, tutto ristrutturato di recente, pulitissima, luminosa ed estremamente confortevole. La nostra camera non era dotata di balcone ma abbiamo potuto approfittare del balconcino nel corridoio per fare una piacevole colazione vista Galaxidi e mare. Anche se non l'abbiamo incontrata personalmente Savvina con la quale abbiamo parlato al telefono oltre ad essere gentilissima ed averci dato tutte le informazioni necessarie e consigli sul luogo parla italiano e anche questo è stato un piacere. Grazie!!

A small but well-equipped apartment within a minute's walk of a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars. Galaxidi has the feel of a proper small town that doesn't just cater for tourists. The harbourside area is the perfect place for dinner or a drink. We ate at 'Memories fron the Ports' where the food is excellent, but beware the additional few euros inexplicably added to your bill!

The apartment was very small - particularly the kitchen area where it is almost impossible for two people to do anything at the same time. No place to store luggage and only a tiny cupboard/wardrobe (in the kitchen!) for clothes.
