The cozy apartment was above our expectations and the spacious yard was a bonus. We will definitely be back😁

Very close to the town and all the places we wanted to see in Robertson . Especially the pool and garden , very well maintained

The shower door in the bathroom is a smaller than most , but the shower itself is very spacious

Easy access to area in Robertson, nice place for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable.

Plug next to one side of the bed did not work, Cupboard in kitchen fell out - not properly secured. Require a bit more braai utensils

The space was nice. It was nice that it was able to accommodate 3 people. The outside area was very nice and it was nice that there was a TV. We also enjoyed the aircon. That was like a bonus because we were able to put the heater setting on before bed to warm up the room. The outside & braai area was also very nice. The bathroom was clean, and I was happy to see that they did end up putting a small door up between the bathroom. There was also WiFi & Netflix which is also always great.

Unfortunately there was a number of things that we didn’t enjoy. The beds/mattress was very old and used. When you sit or lay in the bed, you literally sink into the bed. The plug next to the right hand side of the bed, didn’t work at all. I wasn’t able to charge any devices there and had to share the plug on the other side of the bed (when the other person wasn’t using it). The first night we decided to have a braai and sit outside by the fire. There are only 2 chairs, and the one chair is so broken that none of us could even sit on it, as we were worried it was going to collapse underneath us. I was in the kitchen making a salad and braai Brootjjies for the braai, and took out one of the serving plates that was in the kitchen cupboard and there was dried food stuck on the plate from the previous person. I put the plate straight back into the cupboard. We also struggled with the limited cutlery & crockery and making a basic meal was quite difficult. When it was time to braai, we picked up the braai grid and realised how dirty it was it. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very very long time. And even scrubbing a raw onion over it didn’t even clean it. While showering, the first person had about 2-3 minutes of warm water (not hot) and then it got cold. The other two people showered in ice cold water. I’m not 100% sure what the issue with the hot water is, but when when we were leaving, we bumped into another guest who was sleeping in the other room, and they stopped us to ask us if we also had a cold shower, and we did. The host was also not present at all, and that’s why I couldn’t give a positive rating on the host/hostess, as we never once met them or spoke to them. Only briefly spoke on WhatsApp.
