Scenery house style

Many bed room definitely needs a queen bed not two singles pushed together. Kitchen needs more serving dishes. Gas oven is not getting to temperature

Loved the open living area. The space is minimally but beautifully decorated.

The fireplace is a disaster - the chimney is too low - does not extend over the highest point of the roof and as such the smoke gets blow into the house. As no fires are permitted to be done outside - we could not braai our meat as we had planned never mind - getting the warmth of the fire. This is totally unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the owner does something about this because that fireplace as it is, is useless. Such a pity - otherwise a nice place.

Location, cleanliness, beautiful home, well equipped.

No doors on the bathrooms. No hooks to hang towels or coats etc. A coffee maker or plunger and an outside fire would be appreciated

It had everything we needed

Some of the beds in the middle rooms were comfortable, but the well used beds were terrible. The cleaners hadn’t been told we were checking in so the house was only ready for us at 5pm. They were friendly and apologetic though.
