Great location, nice and quiet. Close to local attractions. perfect size for a family of 4. Our kids loved feeding the ducks down at the lake and enjoyed the swimming pool on site. the lodge had everything we needed and Denise was very kind and the perfect host. She went out of her way to make our holiday perfect.

Cabin was perfect and so clean and comfortable. Everything you could need was provided. Very spacious accommodation and situated close to amenities. Host was very welcoming and friendly and was easy to contact if required. Perfect little 3 night break.

Not overwhelmed by the current restaurant options... and rather pricey.

Denise was a wonderful host, and the property was so cute and homely. This was our little baby boys' first holiday, and it was in the perfect location, short drives from all the places nearby we wanted to visit. The lake on site was beautiful to walk round on an evening with the pushchair to. Overall, we had such a special time and will definitely be returning with family! Thank you again Denise 😊

It wasn't a huge issue and no fault of Denise's but the pub on site doesn't sell food Monday's and Tuesdays (which we were made aware of) so just make sure to plan to eat out on those days or buy fridge bits in. We did manage to order an Indian in on the Monday from just eat which was lovely though!

The accommodation was spotless. Lovely large walk in shower and the host kindly provided some basics like cereals, milk and cleaning products. The site itself is fantastic with a lovely mini beach on the lake for kids next to a fab little pub/restaurant. We’d love to stay again next summer!

We liked everything it was excelent value for money too very clean lots of space could of took our dog but we left her with friends, was a beautiful lodge all the little extras were there as well netflix dvd alexa brilliant time had by us all would defo recomend to anyone who loves the lakes attractions within car distance as well or even a bus or train.

There was not 1 thing we did not like it was beautiful clean home comforts well done denise we loved it.

the property was clean and very homely with 2 toilets and a walk in shower. it’s very spacious and the host was amazing from start to finish. there was milk and orange juice left for us as well as some dog treats.

The lodge was so cosy, it had homely decor and had everything you needed for a mini break; towels, games, kitchen staples ie coffee, tea as well as 2 bathrooms, a balcony with seating area, comfy beds and a really friendly and helpful host :)
