5 bed house with driveway!

Beds were clean and comfortable

Unclean, lots of things we're broken. The kitchen tap broke while we were there, dials on the shower were upside down. No mirrors in bedrooms, TV didn't work, batteries were corroded in the remote. We had to wash everything we used in the kitchen as it didn't look clean. Windows were dirty and looked dangerous, holes in the walls. Plugs on some rooms didn't work.

Everything

The beds were so comfortable. Lovely in fact. Enough space for the four kids and two adults. A good use of the properties rooms. A warm house and an easy commute into London. Great to have WiFi and toiletries and towels. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Unable to get the TV to work. Even after advice. It just wouldn’t work. The mirror and light switch in bathroom were too high so the kids and adults struggled to use them. The fixtures need a bit of tlc, such as the loo roll holder. The back garden would be lovely to use if it wasn’t overgrown. The garage could also do with maintenance to enable two cars to be parked or permits provided for on street parking.

Unfortunately we had a bad stay here, from communication from host on booking (all telephone numbers I had did not go through to host) to the actual property itself The property was dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned (although the beds were made up nicely) floors were dusty, kitchen worktops still smeared and marked (splash back on oven you could write your name in the dirt) Bedroom on top floor had a hole in the floor underneath the bed leg and going through the carpet…. Brought issue up with host who said previous occupants had damaged floor and it would be ok, we did not risk it, No finishing touches to the house, used dirty candle on the table, wires hanging from tv and extension leads on the floor (would not have been happy if I’d had a younger child in my party as was a hazard ) The lounge area also was dirty, behind the extremly hard sofa was build up of hair and dust, and water rings on table and window sill Lounge area very small for a 5 bed house, could not sit more than 4 people comfortably
