Everything was perfect. Very well appointed and super cozy. Lovely host who even provided a fresh Devonshire tea on arrival.

The shower was a bit temperamental

The cottage is spacious, scrupulously clean and utterly charming. Carolyn is friendly and cheerful and left us a cream tea and bottle of wine to welcome us. The bed is comfortable and the pillows were divine, after a week of pancake pillows we really appreciated them. The cottage’s decor was country with touches of beach styling. The cottage has everything you could want for a short stay. The little courtyard garden was divine. It was a 5 minute walk to the local pub where we were welcomed warmly. It is a gorgeous little town. Penzance is 10 minutes away by car and is lovely to wander about.

FYI Driving around the area is not for the faint hearted! Tiny, winding roads with cars parked along the edges make for interesting manoeuvring.

We felt very welcome and relaxed at the property and everything was thoughtfully provided for our comfort. The property had a lovely calm feeling and was immaculately clean. There was a lot of attention to little details which all added up to a happy stay. We found it lovely to just sit and read in both the inside and outside seating spaces. Beautiful flowers outside and lovely furnishings inside made a great ambiance. It was quiet at night and we slept well. Our host,Carolyn was kind and caring and looked after us well. We are glad that we chose to stay here and would return.

The location was very private, tranquil and peaceful. The cottage was scrupulously clean, homely and comfortable with everything we could have wished for. There was a even a cream tea and wine waiting for us, together with pirate flags as Carolyn knew we had just arrived from the Falmouth Shanty festival! As perfect as the stay was, the host Carolyn and Richard are two of the nicest, kindest, most helpful people you could wish to meet. Two real treasures in this beautiful corner of Cornwall!

Brhyer Barn is located a 10 minute walk from Mousehole in the lovely quiet village of Paul. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday. Carolyn is a great host greeting us with lovely goodies and a bottle of wine which was an unexpected surprise.

Very comfortable clean accommodation in quiet location
