Nice breakfast food and breakfast staff. Clean rooms. Great location close to Strasbourg station. Staff members on the first night were helpful. Check in and check out were smooth. Bathroom facilities were clean.

We stayed in this hotel two separate nights and the difference between each stay was night and day. The first night we had a nice clean room with working facilities (though no air conditioning) but the open windows allowed enough airflow to avoid the room becoming over-stuffy. When we came back 3 days later the room we were given was on the 5th floor despite being promised we would be given the same room we had before on the 1st floor. This new room was unbearably stuffy in 30°+ temperatures even after opening the windows and the air conditioning system didn’t work. The lady at the front desk told us maintenance would come to fix the issue in 10 minutes but nobody ever came. The bathroom window opened across and took up all the space in front of the toilet, which had to be closed if you wanted to use the toilet. The bedroom window only opened a tiny bit because the curtain rail got in the way - I had to take the entire curtain off the rail to open the window properly and then re-hang it. The bedroom window swung out over one side of the double bed which posed a hazard if the person sleeping on that side needed to get out of bed. The shower drain was blocked and kept backing up whenever I took a quick shower. When I enquired about a missing item of clothing from my last stay 3 days before, I was assured by one staff member they would alert the housekeeper to check the room and they’d have an answer by the next morning, but the next morning a different receptionist claimed no such note had been left for housekeeping.
