Luxury Town House - Apple Pie Luxury Escapes

Lovely house, well equipped kitchen, great location and lovely surprise goodies!

The house is situated within a short downhill walk to Tavistock town centre, convenient for shops, cafes, the market. The property is clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, linens and towels provided.

The stairs up to the first floor are quite steep. The house is up a hill.

Perfect location a stones throw from the High Street but in a very quiet street. Ideally, located to access Dartmoor's offerings. Hosts very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and comfortable; kitted out very well to serve all needs. Would stay again, no hesitation.

This is a wonderful property and a fantastic place to stay in when visiting Tavistock. My review is based on the house being set up for 4 people (The house is capable of housing 8 adults). The house is spacious and beautifully decorated (I love the pictures of the bear and mole cycling!). We visited on the coldest weekend in the UK for 15 years but the house was warm and cosy, so much so we actually had to turn the heating down. The two bedrooms are spacious and can be configured to your preferences (2 king size or 1 king and a twin). The bed we had in the 2nd floor bedroom was comfortable and the bedding was excellent quality. The en-suites are well equipped, both with WC, sink, shower and heated towel rails. The supplied towels are large and fluffy (exactly how I like them). On arrival there was a lovely (and unexpected) welcome pack which included Milk, Crisps, Biscuits and a Dairy Chocolate Bar. The property is perfectly located for the town centre of Tavistock. Nigel and Janet are amazing hosts, they’re attentive and considerate. They are also a delight to communicate with, always quick to answer any questions you might have or to offer advice on places to eat, drink or visit in the local area. We loved our short stay in Apple Pie and we’d definitely try to stay there again if/when we visit Tavistock in the future.

The location of this wonderful townhouse was just a stone's throw from the centre of Tavistock making wandering into the town very easy. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby or the fully equipped kitchen made for a lovely dinner at home. Wonderful facilities, beautifully decorated and a brilliant price for our stay.

Beautiful house, superbly appointed with a lovely welcome care package. Very comfortable, very warm and in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to the high street. I would highly recommend it and will definitely try and stay here again.
