Sovotel @ Kota Damansara 8

Nothing except for the good location , within walking distance from Surian MRT station and many eating places in the vicinity within walking distance

Poor reception staff . I was told that there was no available room for me when I checked in at 3.15 PM . Staff said that all rooms have been given out and when told that I have a confirmation number from Booking Com for the booking , she said that there is no availble room and someone may have made a mistake. After much argument , the staff finally said that there are 2 rooms reserved , but the guests have not checked in yet. I insisted on being given the room and was finally given a room. The room I was given, Room 111, did not come with any towel, drinking glass nor cup , no tea or coffee making facilties , no kettle nor hot water jug.There was no remote control for the airconditioner. No hooks nor racks to hang clothes/ towel in the bathroom. Torn bedsheet and a sagging mattress. The room had only 2 fixed hangers at the open shelf. There is only one TV channel ,AXN . When I requested for towels , water kettle and glasses from the receptionist , she told me that these items will be sent up to my room , but despite 2 such requests , nothing was supplied up till the morning when I checked out from the hotel. When I requested for a copy of the bill for my hotel stay , I was told that the printer was out of order and the hotel is unable to grant my request. Room size is about 18x 8 ft. When I was there during check in, there were at least 3 other guests who were not given rooms , although all of them were able to show evidence of prior booking . This is the WORST hotel I have encountered and I strongly feel that BookingCom should check that all hotels they sell on their website are reliable ,have courteous staff and have a certain quality in cleanliness ,room facilities , ease of check in etc I feel that SOVOTEL Hotel chain should be immediately removed from Booking.Com website.

The only one good thing about this hotel is the location.

No water supply in the morning. No staff at counter when I want to check out early in the morning, the staff only come out from their rest room when I ring the bell for few times & staff show me dark face when I told him the water supply problem. Overall is TOO BAD!!!! Not recommend for everyone to stay at there.

location, near to restaurant, easy to find place to chill and rilex.

when check in, there's no toiletries, towel in every room. need to ask from the reception staff. toilet not clean

locationwise quite strategic. hotel management followed instruction for close rooms (we booked two!)

the booking process is so lengthy we have to wait even we booked online. towel is not provided, and there is not any window for ventilation :( if that matters, the room isnt cleaned when we arrived but they changed the room for us immediately.

Reception and staff give us sour face, no shower towel available. We have to go down stairs request and reception reply see if any available I don't think it's not properly how to answer. Yet we received but the towel so dirty Toilet bowl so dirty.
