USGlenys greeted us with a warm welcome. The small and perfectly accommodating bedroom with ensuite had everything we needed. The muffins for breakfast were wonderful. We appreciated her going above and beyond with ice for our drinks as it was quite a warm day. We look forward to staying again on our next adventure to New Zealand.
CAVery conveniently located, close to everything in this lovely town. Our host Glenys provides a good-sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom, separate entrance and a private garden. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is fine. Glenys went out of her way to anticipate our needs after we got off the West Coast Wilderness Cycling Trail and sent us off with fresh baked muffins when we departed. She is a longtime resident of Hokitika and had great travel advice for us.
The room is a bit over furnished — there is not a lot of space for two to move around — so we were happy to have sunshine and the beautifully manicured front garden to take our breakfast outside. (We worried about losing our own things among the throw blankets and cushions, though in winter these might be welcome.) Also — real coffee, please!!! For those who can’t bear instant.
CRThis fully furnished apartment is close to downtown Hokitika and the Glow Worm Dell. Glenys was very friendly and gave us good advice on activities to do in the area. Breakfast was excellent!
NZSo clean and tidy! The bed was perfectly comfortable and the lovely lady who owns the property was so kind and considerate. Would love to stay again next time we are in Hokitia! Would recommend! 10/10

KRLovely host who cares about you and your experience in Hokitika a lot. felt like I was staying at my grandma's house. comfy bed, smart TV with Netflix, your own little terrace and garden. Very close to the beach for sunset and glow warm cave. Highly recommended!
USGlenys is a very kind and helpful hostess. The room is very comfortable. It was obvious that a lot of thought went into it. The location is a couple of blocks from downtown Hokitika which is a great town.
I wish I had reserved more time to stay there.
