Chakas Cove 5

It was a self-catering unit, on the bottom floor and the accommodation was lovely. Great View of the sea and right near the tidal pool & easy beach access!

We were disappointed to discover that the pool and play area (advertised along with the pictures of the accommodation) were not on site. You had to access these facilities across the road in the "sister" complex.

The views was stunning thats about the best part of the stay Access to beach was nice and safe very secure

The unit was very old the furniture ,lighting ,utensils, almost everything was old and rusty also very mouldy smell They really need a revamp wont be booking that palce again and was definitely not worth the price we paid

The layout and space was lovely. Everything worked and was in order .

The place smelled like mold. The gas for the braaiar wasn't full, couldn't make proper flames. The blankets were dirty.

Location was excellent

There was no pool in the complex

The location is great. Access to the tidal pools and beach is absolutely great and the view is amazing.

The kitchen needs a service - most of the drawers are difficult to open. I had to clean out all the jets in the braai for it to function. The TV screen was damaged. The main bedroom cupboard door is rotten and the hinge is broken out. Something worth noting is that we booked this place because it was on the ground floor thinking it would be easy to access with a baby and a pram. It is however two flights of stairs down from the parking. With a little maintenance this accommodation could be amazing but currently it is a bit over priced.

Its very inconvenient that they do not accept card payment via booking.com and reject the card. Then we had to do everything all over again. Also inconvenient to drive so far to collect keys and all the way back to give it in.
