My Nest, 5 minutes to the Dragon Bridge

여자주인분 정말 친절합니다. 주방기계 사용법, 문 여는 방법 등 자세하게 설명해주시고 서비스도 무척 좋았습니다. 특히 허브와 레몬을 넣은 물은 향도 맛도 최고였습니다. 위치 정말 좋고 숙소는 정말 깨끗했습니다. 감사합니다^^

Jana is a magnificent host, very helpful and kind. Despite the living/sleeping area itself feeling a little cramped and claustrophobic, the apartment is very well equipped, immaculately clean and ideally located half-way between the stations and historical centre

This first floor studio apartment was perfect in every way, a real delight. For one, it is the PERFECT LOCATION, just a 5-minute walk from the dragon bridge which is your gateway to the Old Town, and it is even shorter to the parking lot and train station in the opposite direction.  The apartment has a little kitchenette with a good sized refrigerator and is well stocked with pots and pans, etc. if you want to cook. There is a kitchen table, a washing machine with drying rack, clothes hanger for drying, closet for storing our things, and nice bathroom. All the furnishings and fixtures are new and plenty of thought was given to good design and DETAILS that make everything convenient and homey. Even the lighting is well planned, with little white Christmas-type lights on one shelf.  Jana provided a basket with tourist information, recommendations,  brochures, and maps, and she was super helpful in every way. The apartment is behind three locked entrances: a security gate, a door to the area and then the apartment door. It felt very secure. German windows are up high above the street so you can sleep with them open or use the air conditioner. The outdoor shade darkens the room nicely for sleeping. She was also exceptionally kind to provide us with a pitcher of lemon-mint-infused water with mint from her garden(!), water bottles, and welcome sweet treats plus a little bottle of sparkling wine to try. This is some true hospitality! THANK YOU, Jana!

It took us a night to figure out that we needed to raise the outdoor window shade about 6 inches and open the window to get the best combination of darkness and cool air. It was perfect.

The hosts have thought about literally everything a guest might need, from supplies and utensils for the bathroom, kitchen and utility room, to local recommendations and nice welcoming touches such as nice decoration, homemade tea and a local aperitif. The location is also extremely convenient, just a few minutes away from the train station, and a pleasant and short (approximately 10-15 minutes) walk to the centre of town and all of its wonderful cafés, bars, restaurants and other attractions.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The place is not big but comfortable. Jana prepared many special treats for us including homemade floral herbal tea, cookies, sweets and small bottles of…. Very thoughtful arrangements. Location is good to bus station and walk to town. Everything just around the corner and the apartment has everything you need for a short stay. We have an incident during our short stay and Jana was very helpful to accompany us to different places to talk to different people to get things done and follow through during our stay. She is so supportive and devoted to make us feel comfortable and at ease and is always there to provide help. Thanks a lot.

The location is perfect because it’s between the Old Town and the bus and train stations. Jana was also very kind and hospitable. She gave amazing tips to enjoy the city. She gave free snacks and drinks too.

It could be loud. There could be random people ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night.

The apartment is situated very close to the centre of Ljubljana, next to all major sightseeings as well as to the train station. It is easily accessible and close to shops and supermarkets. It is very clean, cosy and it includes all necessary facilities. The owner (Mrs. Jana) welcomed us warmly, offering us biscuits, homemade liqueur and coffee, as well as her own tea. She was very friendly, cooperative and made us feel at home at all times. For both of us, Jana is an extra reason to visit this apartment next time. An excellent choice by all means!
