B&b Sant'Anna

Excellent location if you want to visit Mt. Vesuvius and the Herculaneum ruins, as well as Pompeii and nearby cities such as Sorrento and Naples. Depending on how fast you walk, the train station is at minimum 5 minutes away. While I didn't personally meet the host, my interaction with her over messaging was cordial and her response time was quick. The accommodation was really nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. If you decide to stay here, make sure you have internet access because the host won't be there to greet you. She will send you a code and instructions on how to access the keys in the lockbox. However, if you don't have internet access, you can call the host and let her know, which is what I did. Her husband came out, and he was helpful and friendly. Grazie mille!

What could have been better? Perhaps darker curtains to keep out more light. I tried closing the wood shutters, but the turn knobs weren't functioning...or maybe it was user error. Lol. As others have mentioned, there is kitchenware, but no microwave or portable electric burner, so if the host can add one of these for future travelers, that would be great. Other than that, I have no complaints. These minor details aren't deal breakers.

Price, cleanliness

Lacking a few items but we brought everything

Close to train station to Naples and main street and archeological site in Ercolano. Communication was good, we asked for additional blanket and we received it. New and very clean apartment, very good beds for sleeping and big terrace with view to Ercolano and with specific energy and atmosphere for Naples.

There was kitchen but without stove and oven for cooking in our apartment but this was not important for us.

The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. It is very clean and everything in the apartment is new. There is fully functioning air conditioning, a kitchen with a large fridge, and a huge terrace with an outdoor shower. The bathroom is sufficient, with a shower and towels. There are tables both in the apartment and on the terrace. Additionally, there is a canopy on the terrace that provides shade for relaxing. The owner is very nice and helpful in case of any problems. The apartment is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk to the station and a larger grocery store. The terrace was spacious and perfect for eating breakfast and tanning.

The only thing that was bothering us were ants and the WiFi was not that great, otherwise everything was perfect.
