"Perfect stopover between Auckland and New Plymouth as we travelled to WOMAD. Great cafe in town and good restaurant nex"

Located off the main road with plenty of parking on the street. Charming, up market backpacker, quiet renovated old motel with touches of style in the artwork. Clean, friendly and a perfect stopover. A comfortable sitting/dining room where a simple breakfast is provided.

"Very pleasant stay"

Friendly staff, storage for bikes (we were cycling). Excellent meal at the eatery.

Had to be careful to take key when leaving the room, no way of avoiding it locking behind you.
