Correct description of property being a garage conversion so I could make a choice whether to book it or not. Practical facilities including fridge and other kitchen items good. Useful to have a hanging space and small sofa. Plenty of tea and coffee satchets. Comfortable bed and clean sheets and towels. Clean room and bathroom. A bigger bin outside the property was useful. Small area to sit outside or to leave the door open.

Hot water tap not working (is mentioned in a few reviews since 2024 when I looked back). A small hand written sign is on top. Sink too small to fill up the kettle for hot water, however a plastic jug has been provided. Shower tricky to work out and no instructions on how to to turn on the hot/cold water other than a hand written arrow on the shower box. Musty smell in the room, particularly around the bed headboard area. The private parking is actually in a busy residential road around the corner from the property. Lack of communication skills from host when there was a mix up with the dates.

Good, easy to find and access location. Quiet and private. Fridge, kettle and tea and coffee supplies all much appreciated! Didn't meet host but communication via email was crystal clear. Nice big soft fluffy towels! Generally clean.

Parking - the listing implies there's a dedicated spot, but it's just on street. Always managed to park within 100 yards but the road does fill up... I'm not a vain person but a larger mirror on a wall somewhere would be useful! 2 small ones in bathroom. Water heater over sink not working, first mentioned in reviews going back to September 2024, plenty of time to have rectified as it's the only hot water apart from the shower. Musty/stuffy smell, which I suspect is due to the lack of an extractor fan in the shower. The bed was way too soft with little support for me and I'm not a big guy! Overall, decent value for money.

The bed was extra comfy, location was very quiet and convenient. Everything looks like on pictures. Dog was comfy and settled in really quickly.

A nice little room. Comfortable bed. The host was very polite in communications.

The hot water heater for the sink in the bathroom wasn't working. I only stayed for one night so it wasn't too much of a problem. But washing your hands in cold water isn't great. The advert said there was parking which I took to mean private, allocated parking. But it is on street posting and you can end up parking quite a way away and having to lug bags quite far.

Inexpensive and fine for one night.

No hot water in tap. Parking close by impossible. Very prompt on check out time.No functional outside lights. Quite cold.
