East Linton flat, sleeps 2

The apartment was ideal for us visiting relatives nearby. It was cold when we arrived but soon warmed when the heaters were on . It was so convenient for the local shops with a co op and butchers nearby. The bus into Edinburgh was really convenient and will give us many trips when we return, it goes to Dunbar in the other direction . We understand that the local train station is opening soon also. On this occasion we did not have transport. An excellent stay. Thankyou

We could have done with one more oven dish .

The flat has lovely decor and atmosphere and the back garden (which you can access striaght from the flat) is absolutely beautiful.

Extremely clean. Very cozy. Has everything you needed

Light in the stairwell have to use a torch to read key press numbers not the fault of the owner of the apartment though

The apartment is in a pleasant location and handy for visiting the surrounding area. We visited Preston Mill, Edinburgh, Archerfield Walled Garden and North Berwick. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and fairly well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent and she kept me well informed about timings, instructions for use of heating etc. We parked on the street nearby and also in front of the apartment when space was available. Although we didn’t eat there, there’s the Crown and Kitchen and also East Linton steak house to go for meals.

We arrived in the late afternoon, and so, we were able to buy provisions from the Co-op which is nearby. However, if visitors were to arrive late and it was closed, it would have been a good idea if a welcome tray/basket had been available with tea, coffee, sugar and perhaps milk in the fridge. Having stayed in many places in different areas these have always been included and greatly appreciated.
