Funky Flat - City Centre - Free Parking

Great location, good facilities very comfortable.

All transactions were carried out online, no face to face service.

Lovely flat and very near all touristt attractions and lovely places to eat. Parking was a bonus.

The entrance area to Vantage House and the lifts were dirty and not looked after. Shame it gave a bad first impression.

The bath was very narrow and a larger bed would have been nice

The flat was well located for central Norwich and very handy. Appreciated free parking, though the parking area was not particularly salubrious and we weren't sure how safe it was. We were not given a code to access the building from the carpark instead of going a long way around – out of the carpark and all the way round the building – to get to the front entrance. It would have saved us a lot of extra walking with heavy luggage. A kind resident later gave us the code to access the building from the carpark.

Neither of the two lifts was working when we arrived in the late afternoon, and there was nothing to show whether they were working or not. We waited 15 minutes. We messaged the landlord who contacted maintenance but did not indicate when it was going to be fixed. A resident told us that the lifts are often out of order (see some of the reviews here, which say the same). We had to struggle up the stairs to the fourth floor with two heavy suitcases – not a good start. Afterwards, the landlord insisted that maintenance had told him that one lift was working fine, and that there was nothing else he could have done. That was just what maintenance (who didn't appear to be on site) told him, and he never came to check or to see how he could help. Was it not his responsibility to ensure that we could get up to the flat? We could have had mobility issues and not been able to take the stairs. We later discovered that one of the lifts was jammed open electronically on an upper floor, but there was no way we could have known that from downstairs. One of the lifts was also permanently in darkness, which is a security issue. There were no instruction manuals for the washing machine and there was nothing to dry clothes on apart from a small rack to hook onto a radiator. There was no manual for the coffee machine either. The landlord told us to look through the pile of booklets in a cupboard, but they were installation instructions and guarantee details for various machines. He then asked us to send him photos of the serial and model number so that he could look for a manual online. It would have been so much less hassle if the instruction manuals were present in the flat. We did not feel that our needs or comfort were an important consideration, and we had to struggle upstairs with heavy suitcases when the lifts didn't work.

Great location right in the centre of Norwich - everywhere in the city centre is within easy walking distance. The free parking is a real bonus. The flat was very clean and well-presented with lots of nice little touches. We stayed during one of the recent heatwaves and the supplied fan was a god-send! We’d definitely stay there again

Amazing, clean and beautifully furnished flat. Had everything we needed and more, coffee, snacks, water in the fridge. As my partner and I went for our anniversary, I asked if a bottle of champagne could be there, and they were more than happy to accommodate this. Comfy bed, access to a Netflix account and a beautiful view out the windows. Jason was a brilliant host, and replied promptly to any questions.

No fault of the host at all as the flat itself was amazing. However, the lift to get to our floor had no light and was quite scary, haha! A very small critic would be the wall art opposite the bed - very work/money orientated, work is something we don’t like to think about when away relaxing, to properly shut off and relax - but this is just a personal preference.

Excellent location for central Norwich exploration. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and quite.
