Good communication from host and lovely welcome from Mrs Mela. Modern fixtures and furniture. Spotlessly clean Air conditioning in kitchen/living/diner and one bedroom. Outside covered cooking/dining space plus brick built barbecue. Private outdoor pool. Beautiful views including sea and sunrise . Views of Etna. Good selection of pasticcerias in Giarre for morning croissants.

Ideally, I would have liked air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms as it was super-hot for our end of August stay. Hire car essential as situated towards the top of a hill outside of Giarre. Off- street parking space provided but a bit stressful coming on and off parking space onto road as local drivers were very reluctant to slow down. Appreciate nothing owners can do about that!

This property was immaculately clean and tidy and was stocked with absolutely everything that we could have needed for our week long stay. The view was beautiful at the foot of Mount Etna and looking out over the coast. The family greeted us on arrival and showed us where to find everything. There was a space to park our car off road and a convenient shop at the top of the hill. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay here.

We have no faults. Everything was perfect.

The parking is RIGHT in front of the house along a very busy road. Extremely hard to pull into the parking spot without someone in the street guiding you. There is safe parking about 100 meters away. No stores or restaurants close so one must have a car. The house is very clean and the outdoor pool area and seating is very nice and comfortable. The house is all on the ground level, kitchen, living room and master BR are towards the rear of the house closest to the pool. The other 2 bedrooms and bath are closest to the front (street side) of the house and are subject to road noise. There are only 2 windows in the entire house, one above the kitchen cabinets and the other in the master bath so the house does not have an abundance of natural light.

They offer us to pick up from the airport. Unfortunatelly when we were at the airport they send us a message they don’t pick up us! We wanted to rent a scooter but we must rent a car to get a luggage to the vila. There are 3 bedrooms, one is nice with window and peace but the two of them have no window and it is next to very frequent street so you hear a noise of car. The location is bad you need car/scooter. There is no shop, restaurant or anything close by foot.

A huge, full-equipped, modern designed house (washing machine, microwave, iron, hairdryer, fridge, air cond. etc) with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Soft, clean towels. The swimming pool is private, it was cleaned every day. Fast wifi. Very warm welcome by host. All the house was absolutely clean.

It was very difficult to find the house, because there was no house number or name on the building. 2 bedrooms had no natural light and air.
