Dissapointed we were staying across the street from the pool and fitness room. We were traveling with 2 little boys and it is a little bit of a walk.
Good size for the price. Needs some minor maintenance and updating. At time of stay they were demolishing an old lodge next door and would start the demolition tractor at 7:00 every morning.
We went there on an 8 person family getaway. Really enjoyed out stay. Some highlights: Good + The inside of the 3-bd condo was amazing. Clean, smelled great, lots of room. + Beautiful view + Hotel service extremely nice and helpful + Pool and lots of hot tubs great for family Improvement - The check-in and pool are actually a 5min walk down the street (or can call the hotel shuttle), which is something I didn't know when I booked. With 4 kids it was an added hassle, but not a deal breaker. - Broken internet, clogged drain, really squeeky bed ... small things - Neighboring property was abandoned and looked a bit junky
In a nutshell, be careful about what you're booking. We've stayed at the main hotel, which is great, but we were put up in one of their condos down the street. The condos are about 1/2 mile away, and while the interior has been updated, the outside is a bit rundown. Also, if you're there in the summer and want to open the windows (no A/C, which is typical for Colorado) the road noise will not allow you to sleep. Call the hotel and make sure you're staying at the main lodge.
I was reluctant to give a review of Main Street Junction because good things like this are best to keep a secret. Best place to stay in Breck, you are at the top of Main Street away from the crowds but close enough to walk anywhere. Spacious and well furnished 2-bedrooms with a private garage. Extremely comfortable with full functioning kitchen. Perfect!!
We rented a one bedroom condo. The good: It had nice high-end finishes and decent furnishings. It had a full kitchen. It's very close to all the "main street" fun in Breckenridge. It included a private garage. Very nice. The bad: The windows must be really cheap because the street noise was terrible. I kept thinking there must a window open, but there wasn't. It impacted my sleep. The ugly: It seemed like this condo hadn't been recently rented because it was dusty. Things like the dining room table weren't dusty, so maybe someone came in and did a quick "run a cloth against the major surfaces" cleaning but there must have been dust on the furniture and bedding and elsewhere because my nose clogged up and my throat felt scratchy after being there a little while. It went away after we left, so it was not an oncoming cold. There's just no excuse for not properly cleaning.
Non of the apartments appear to have ac and when windows open it is very noisy, either from the bar in the courtyard or traffic. Would be perfect in winter though !
The condo is located conveniently to the town of Breckenridge. Easy walk to shops, restaurants etc. There is a free shuttle that takes you any place in town.
The condo was a great place for our family. The bedrooms were perfect for our kids and it had plenty of room for all of us. It was so nice to come back to this condo after a long day of activities on the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.
