La Casa di Rò

Damiano received us with a glass of Spritz! he was super kind and informative. The attention to detail was superb, with kitchen little commodities here and there, extra pillows and blankets, soap, shampoo, etc. The place is nicely decorated, it even has books and some toys for kids. There’s a 15 blocks walk to the main city tourist places, same for the Train station. So if you stay for several days and visit or travel often by taking Syracuse as a central point, these walks become a bit long.

The electricity system, by which as in a hotel, you need to put the single key on a keyhole so there’s electricity. we understand it’s purpose, however if at least ONE socket provided electrify at all times in spite of that, it would be perfect. Many times you need to charge other devices besides your phone overnight. The entrance and bathroom were smelly several times due to, we believe, lack of sealing of the toilet. The beds in the second room are tiny, meant more for kids, ok, but if you are a group of 4 adults it can be a bit uncomfortable. finally, there’s one power socket in the main bedroom that doesn’t work, so we plugged a phone to charge only to find later it wasn’t charging.

Thank you for a great experience! Leandra is very nice person, nothing is problem. We spend great time in La casa di Rò.
