Beach pearl 1

It was a perfect base for exploring the area, directly on a fantastic little beach, spacious enough for a couple, and incredibly easy check-in! There is a lovely restaurant next door, a great beach bar at the end of the harbour, and a shop directly across the street. We would definitely come back!

The *only* thing was that it was a bit hard to find the turn in for the parking at the harbour in the dark. The street was quite busy, and it wasn't easy to find the right drive way. However, after we found it we were able to follow the host's directions.

The window is not facing the sea but the courtyard facing the road. It smelled of cigarettes. To cover this smell, the room had a horribly strong chemical smell of air freshener that gave me a headache. Dirty floor, unwashed pot in the cupboard. Uncomfortable. We arrived late, very tired (we drove across Croatia by car) and asked to check out by 12 instead of 10 (in general, as a "genius" I have the right to check out at least an hour later), to which the owner replied that they had to prepare the room for the next tenants and we should check out at 10 sharp (check-in time at 15.00!!!!). I hope they had enough for 5 hours! At least we washed a pot for them! We stayed in 8 places during our trip through Croatia. And to all of them I wrote good reviews, only this option and the inflexibility of the host disappointed me.

It's close to the beach, but it's still winter so no use of beach at this period of the year.

It's hard to get to the house and apartment by car and it's somewhat dangerous to get onto the main road. Neighbor complained about me leaving my car in front of the house, so I had to move it to a different spot, even though the owner told me to park my car there. In the morning I found a little scratch on my car door.

Very good contact with the owner. Good check-in instructions, 24/7 support. Clean and comfortable apartments on the beach. Parking is next to the apartments.
