Gloucester 26

The location was excellent, literally a 1 minute drive to the beach. Loved that it was a gated community with guard shack, felt very safe. It is right on a golf course. We needed a house that could house 13 ppl comfortably (4 couples and 5 kids/young adults). The upstairs kids bunk bed room was a hit with all the kids. Every room had a tv, the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes/cookware, coffee pot and Keurig.

The house was cleanish, I feel like the cleaning company did the bare minimum. The beds were clean, the showers/bathrooms were clean, carpets were vacuumed but everything else was neglected. All the vents have layers of dust like it’s literally hanging out of them, all the sliding doors were nasty like they’ve never been washed, the carpets need a good cleaning- the whole house needs a good deep cleaning… beware the hot tub is not hot it’s just another pool - I was told when I booked the house that this house heated pool wasn’t an option but when I checked in the guy told me I would have to have told them at least 2 weeks before arriving and that it would be $800 to heat the pool, but you would think since they advised a hot tub that it would be hot but no it is not and you have to pay the $800 for the hot tub to be hot… the pool wasn’t cleaned when we got there it was full of leaves and we had to clean the filter it was overflowing.. the outdoor furniture is very worn.. none of the rooms have overhead lights they all have lamps so the rooms are darker.. the upstairs room with the two queen beds does not have a bathroom you have to share with the bunk bed room so that got a little crowded when every was trying to get to the shower etc.
