Jobbig TV, brydde mig inte så mycket, jag ville komma i säng. Men det gammalmodiga med olika kontroller som måste samverka har jag glömt bort.
GBIt was exactly what we expected and hoped for. A simple cottage in the countryside of Norway! Marius is an absolute amazing host! He took us out on the snowmobile to show us where the cross country ski slop was. Brought all the firewood by we needed. And not only that. After telling him we would like to try out some cross country skiing he let us borrow his which fit us perfectly. My son and me had an amazing trip!
DEKamin zum beheizen der Unterkunft im Winter zwingend notwendig und das macht den Reiz dieser Unterkunft aus. Bitte beachtet vor Anreise im Winter, dass ihr Holz mitbringen müsst. Der Örtliche Supermarkt hatte am Sonntag geschlossen und das Holz war ausverkauft.
Zwei Elektro Heizkörper waren defekt und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat sich auf eine SMS zur Anreise beschränkt. Nachfragen zur Nutzung der Sauna blieben unbeantwortet. Wir denken, dass diese auch defekt war.
DEDie Unterkunft war runtergekommen, vernachlässigt und dreckig, das Eisfach war so vereist, daß das Eis herausquoll und die Tür des Faches dadurch offen stand. Geheizt war die Unterkunft nicht (bei 10 Grad Außentemperatur und Regen), von den drei vorhandenen Heizkörpern funktionierten nur 2. Die Spüle in der Küche hatte keinen Abfluss, unter der Spüle stand ein Eimer, der das Abwasser auffangen sollte. Leider hatte man vergessen diesen zu säubern, das gammlige Abwasser stand dort anscheinend schon Wochenlang. Als wir den Eimer bewegten um ihn zu leeren, stank die ganze Unterkunft bestialisch. Die Lichtschalter waren vollkommen verdreckt. Die Toilette, Waschbecken (nur in der Toilette vorhanden, nicht in der Unterkunft), sowie Dusche waren in einem Extragebäude, dieses war quer durch ein Waldstück - also ohne befestigten Weg und ohne Beleuchtung zu erreichen, Entfernung weit mehr als die beschriebenen 25 m. Bei dem nassen Wetter konnte man nicht trockenen Fußes dort hingelangen. Der Seifenspender in der Toilette war ausgelaufen, die gesamte Seife hatte sich auf dem Waschbecken und dem Fußboden verteilt und war dort gummiartig angetrocknet. In der Waschmaschine und im Trockner lag Wäsche, dem Vermieter nach die Bettwäsche des vorherigen Mieters, da aber vor Ort ersichtlich war, daß lange niemand Day Blockhaus genutzt hat, stellt sich die Frage wie lange sich die Wäsche schon in Waschmaschine und Trockner befand und nicht raus genommen wurde. Wlan wurde lt. Beschreibung der Unterkunft versprochen, gab es aber nicht. Hier sind Gäste nicht willkommen. Wir wollten hier 2 Nächte bleiben, sind nach 700 km abends spät angekommen, in der Nähe haben wir so kurzfristig keine andere Übernachtung bekommen, deshalb mussten wir notgedrungen eine Nacht hier bleiben, notgedrungen. In diesem vernachlässigtem und verschmutzten Haus war es eine Zumutung bleiben zu müssen.
LVSauna was decent, as it was located in a different building. It was a shared (!) sanitary building though, but we were alone. Be aware - there are 2 cabins, and you won't know if you are alone or not.
The main building and the host. The main building was dirty - the bedsheets (!) and the tables were all dirty after the previous guests, and the trash wasn't event taken out. When we arrived, the house was smelling bad. When we contacted the host, at first he ignored us, then after contacting Booking support, he suddenly appeared saying that he was at work, but after pointing our the problems - he disappeared. Also, the wi-fi was not working at all. The host proved to be untrustworthy.
HUAs most of the previous comments did not describe it well I will try to. The place is 1 hour south from Tromso, in rough conditions it is 90 minutes. It is the best choice for anyone that likes the authentic LOG HOUSE building videos on the internet. But not the fancy "it is a log house from the outside and a 5 star hotel inside". It has 6 single beds separated in 2 rooms a small kitchen a big living and dining room plus and entrance hall. Also there is a nice balcony. The showers, toilets and sauna are in a building right next to the parking space you stop when you arrive. That is another wooden building. From that you have to walk upwards like 30 meters to one of the cabins. For someone loves the sauna and cold shock as I do, it is amazing. From the place we could saw Aurora 3 nights out of 4. They were everywhere, no need for any trip. took amazing photos. We got wood for our fireplace, but you should ask for it, keep in mind. There is also electric heating, work good! Easy to get to and to be found, even during bad weather conditions. There is a shop 15 mins on foot far. We had sauna, (make sure to turn it on outside and inside as well) and dipped in the snow and ice - lovely. You can access it by car and has the chance to see moose, reindeers along the way, we did couple of times. The host was very kind supplied us with anything we asked for + advice, we were also invited to a party. And regular weather condition note. You can reach out via Whatsapp, he will reply quickly.
You need to know sometimes he is at work or at other places, thus he cannot come immediately. You shall prepare yourself at least with toilet paper if it runs out, no daily cleaning but as you will see, not a busy place, and it is not required. Only we where there with my group of 6 for 5 days - in this matter it is more like an airbnb. For people do not like rural lifestyle it can be harsh, but the experince we got for such a small amount of money considering Norway...amazing.

It was mentioned in the description before booking that the toilet was was 25m away from the cabin. By it was not mentioned that it was uphill. Upon my arrival, I saw that there was no toilet paper in the WC. I had to call the host and inform him.
