PLA beautiful house in traditional spanish style. Lovely terrace with a view over the whole old town of Betancuría. Amazing kitchen and luxurious bathroom. The owner Pepe is very friendly and he runs the Finca Pepe goat farm which is an absolute must to visit ( They make the best goat cheese I ever had plus lots of other local products.) The farm is about 1.5km away from the house. The fresh goat cheese is properly vacuum sealed, so it can last a long time without the fridge. There is no shops in close proximity ( Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes ) so in case you need anything like water or hot coco just ask Pepe and all will be well. We had fantastic stay in Casa Isabel. Highly recommended place to stay for a couple of days to fully enjoy the beauty of Betancurìa.

There was a very steep hill climb when walking back up to the property but this isn’t necessarily a negative.
NLLocation was super nice. Nice view over the whole town. The owner, Pepe, welcomed us with some local goat cheese, and cactus jam.
There were a lot of ants in de living room/kitchen. Also the space was a bit smelly, like it was a long time ago that someone was there.

1. No contact with the owner before arrival. No information about how to get into the flat. When I rang the number he answered and gave me the key code. The people in the next door flat had the same problem. They had been given the wrong key code and had not been able to get through on the phone. I suggested they tried the same key code as us, which worked. Not very secure. 2. The young woman who brought cheese and jam took photos of our passports. This was suspicious as it hasn't happened anywhere else we've stayed, so can't be compulsory by law. 3. The shower flooded. Probably needs the drain clearing.
