Io e mia moglie Tiziana abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno semplicemente perfetto in questo appartamento a Nea Roda. La struttura è in una posizione strategica: a pochi passi dal mare, dal porticciolo e dalla spiaggia della cittadina. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche le splendide spiagge attrezzate di Voulitsa e la vastissima Koumitsa, entrambe facilmente raggiungibili. In pochi minuti d’auto si arriva a Tripiti, punto di imbarco per l’isola di Ammouliani. Anche senza auto, il traghetto è comodissimo grazie al servizio navetta presente al porto dell’isola. La location è ideale anche per esplorare i dintorni: Ierissos, Olympiada, l’Antica Stagira (città natale di Aristotele) e Ouranopoli sono tutte mete facilmente raggiungibili. L’appartamento era impeccabile: pulizia quotidiana accurata, arredamenti moderni e nuovi, dotazioni complete e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Un ambiente accogliente e funzionale, dove ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Un ringraziamento speciale alla proprietaria, Despoina, per la sua straordinaria cordialità e disponibilità. Ci ha accolti con omaggi, ci ha permesso di raccogliere erbe aromatiche dal suo giardino e ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolati. Indimenticabile anche la serata trascorsa a cena con lei e il marito Agapios, persona squisita, appassionata della cultura italiana, grande lettore e perfetto conoscitore della nostra lingua, avendo vissuto e studiato in Italia – perfino nella nostra stessa città! Un’esperienza di soggiorno e di viaggio eccellente, che consigliamo con entusiasmo a chiunque cerchi relax, bellezza e ospitalità autentica.

Nice, cozy and well equipped room. U feel the sea breeze on the terrace. The house is about 10min from the town but i felt this part more interesting, the rocks around the chapel and the sea, voulitsa beach bar was still closed. Be prepared for ultimate chill 😀

There are stray dogs in the town which can be surprising at first but they are harmless

Comfortable and cozy apartment studio with all the amenities. Location is amazing too, just steps away from the beach in very peaceful surrounding and lovely host Despoina who treated us with greek coffee and chocolate upon arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Despoina!

Slow speed Wi-Fi

The location is with a view to the small port of nea roda. Everything is really new and renovated. The hostess is amazingly warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful!!! We will definitely recommend to family and friends

My 3 days stay in Nea roda was not planned, but staying in Porto Athos was one of best stays in a while. Host lady Despina is exactly what her name derives from: '"The name Despina finds its origins in Greek culture and embodies the historical significance of the word lady. Derived from the Greek word despoina, which translates to mistress or lady of the house, Despina carries a rich and profound historical heritage." Starting with a warm welcome, providing small necetities to run my kitchen and alway willing to fulfil my acommodation needs. Despina ευχαριστώ. The apartment house is new, clean, close to the beach, quite sorounding and nicely decorated apartment with everything you need. If not there...ask Despina :) What else would you need for a great stay. When I'll be around will definetly go to Phorto Athos and also recommend to my frinds doing same.

The location was perfect, the host was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. The bed was so comfortable, everything was spotless. I recommend the place and plan to visit again.
