"Disappointing - definitely not the Penthouse vibe we had expected!"

Reasonably spacious apartment

Area felt unsafe and very run down. Definitely wouldn't walk around there. Boy racers going up and down the street all night - very noisy. View from main window was of a wasteland - full of rubbish / litter. Common areas were neglected, unpleasant and smelt strongly of weed. Lights broken. Flat was okay but definitely in need of some TLC. Furnishings cheap and nasty - definitely not we expected for the price and the marketing. Lots of fake plastic plants. Uncomfortable main bed - mattress too soft and sagging. Flat smelt bad - there was an attempt to conceal this with strong scented plug-in air fresheners. Towels were thin and worn and TINY - like hand towels.
