Private Luxury By The Sea, With A Personal Gym, Hot Tub, And Free Parking!

I am writing to express my formal dissatisfaction regarding the misleading advertising of this property. While marketed as "pet-friendly" and including a "hot tub," the substantial additional fees for these facilities were not transparently disclosed and were only located within obscure FAQ sections.We found the charge of £50 per dog for a two-night stay to be entirely excessive. Furthermore, we felt unable to use the hot tub due to undisclosed costs and were deterred from using the gym facilities due to concerns regarding hidden subscription fees! Finally, the patio area was not "secure" as advertised; the flimsy fabric gate was inadequate and posed a significant escape risk for our dogs.

It exceeded our expectations. The place has been done to a very high standard. Joe was quick to help us with any questions we had. We'd happily stay here again.

A lovely modern yet comfortable retreat. Had all mod cons and nicely furnished and little shower extras. . We also had the option to use Jacuzzi and the gymnasium. Which looked amazing! Would highly recommend staying at Joes retreat.

Impressive accommodation...however booking it was very stressful. Beware if you have a dog. I booked a non refundable overnight stay 2 weeks before the actual date. It stated that dogs included in the price ... but after l paid, the confirmation stated that a £50 fee is required for a pet. I immediately contacted the owner who had no idea about the pet free offer. He said l would have to pay an extra £50 for an overnight stay. I asked if l could cancel the booking and I sent him a screenshot of the offer. He said I could cancel and told me to go through booking.com - which l did. However the owner refused to refund the payment of £158 as it was the non refundable option. Very disappointing.

Everything! Well equipped, clean, modern. It had everything we needed even bathrobes! Nicely decorated. 10/10 We absolutely loved the hot tub! Joe was a fantastic host. Attentive, friendly and helpful. We’re very happy from our stay.

I like the privacy for the jacuzzi.
