The location was good

This is a room in a family home. There is a kitchen but you are only allowed to use one shelf of the fridge and there was a family with young kids sat down to breakfast the morning of our check out. The room and bathroom was not clean.

"Accomodation is OK, communication with host is poor"

The location is good if you're going to an event at the Coop live arena or the nearby stadiums. The apartment is within walking distance. Very quiet area, not many shops nearby. But a short walk to the bus stop which takes you into the city centre.

The room was fine. Bathroom could have been cleaner. The communcation with the host was horrible. They never responded to any emails, calls or texts unless I went through the official booking.com costumer service. They also sent me check in info for the wrong address, and then did not respond to me contacting them. So I spent over an hour at the airport while costumer service had to reach out to them so we could get the correct information. We almost missed our event because of this, and it caused us a lot of stress.

Walking distance from velodrome, easy access via key safe. Nice hot shower.

Not sure where the "luxury" aspect of this accommodation comes in. Part of kitchen ceiling missing, no working lock on bedroom door, despite there being a key (and trying 100 ways to lock it). No desk (which i needed) although shown as one of the facilities of the room. Mould in shower room. Hit my head on upper bunk bed 20 times!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, our quadruple room and en suite shower were of a good standard, but I struggled to get up onto the top bunk of the double bunk beds which are not ideal when you’re a 62 year old woman. There was nothing to grip to go up & down ! Also the bottom rung of the vertical ladder is approx 18 inches off the ground and I had to hop off the bottom rung as I have short legs ! My upper shoulders and arms were sore trying to manoeuvre going up and down! I have to say though the couple of times I contacted the host of the property, he was very helpful 👍
