Tudor House - 6 guests -Off street parking -Quiet location - Secure Garden

No Towels Beds in both bedrooms need skipping they are awful. Bins overflowing in front garden flies all over them Back garden is very untidy and totally unloved. Cupboards are all faulty and there were flies in the front bedroom which tells me unclean.

The living room was very comfortable and the shower was lovely.

The pots/pans/plates and cutlery needed washing, alot were dirty. The mattresses on the beds were old and uncomfortable. The bins outside the property were full and overflowing.

I booked the accommodation for 2 work colleagues. The property was inherently dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned for sometime. Dust and grime were everywhere , tiles were missing from one of the bathrooms, wardrobe doors were missing from one of the bedrooms. One of the toilets contained excrement which had been left by the previous occupier. Clearly no cleaning had taken place. This is completely unacceptable and not as advertised. The beds though were completely unusable. The mattress on one of them was so thin and without springs that when laid it felt as if lying directly on the wooden frame. On the second mattress the springs were poking through making it impossible to lie on. Things were so bad that my colleagues refused to stay at the property and immediately checked into a hotel. The property has refused to respond to both my requests and Booking.com's customer service requests for a refund.

Had a couple of issues on arrival to which was rectified as soon as it possibly could be. Host was very helpful.

No issues toaster not working but no issue

On street parking as well as drive was great as had 2 vans. Exclusive use to the whole house and was able to check-in whenever as the key was in a safe box. The sofa bed was very comfy. Excellent WiFi The shower was great!

Mattresses could do with a toper or change mattress as can feel springs. Bedroom wardrobes need maintenance as doors are damaged or missing. The bathroom needs maintenance as tiles are broken and missing. Wasn't informed that Telly had no hdmi cable or services as would have brought with me if I knew. The curtain rail in the bedroom needs maintenance as it is missing a bracket.

Unsecured garden. Our dog escaped causing stress. Bed really uncomfortable.

The location and the price was really good

The house was dusty . Both the bedrooms had cobwebs in the corner. The table fan was extremely dusty and so were the bedroom linen. My allergic rhinitis and my partners allergic dermatitis flared up overnight . Luckily I had some anti histamines with me
