1 Queen Bed & 2 double beds at One Uptown Residences with XBOX and Netflix

The apartment itself is very nice. It’s got a high end finish complete with everything you need to feel at home. No complaints whatsoever.

The apartment buildings security policy and check in policy is very silly. Why do I need IDs for all the people? This is an Airbnb not a hotel. I was escorted in a different place nearby the building to get myself and my party checked in and this took almost an hour. Some airbnbs have contactless check ins. The queue was long and had to be outside in the heat for a bit because the inside was full. During our stay, one of my cousin was visiting for a couple of hours, however the security didn’t let him in because he’s not in the guest list. Other apartments nearby like Uptown Parksuites doesn’t have this policy. The security staff are also very rude in this building.

Near Uptown. The place looks nice, especially the vinyl record player. The owner was nice to let us check out at 12nn, thank you for being considerate.

The a/c in both rooms either has issues or broken. I’ve read a review here from Dec 2024 that the a/c is broken. Up until now in April 2025, they still have the same issue with the a/c. The refrigerator door handle is broken when we came. Also, there are small cockroaches we’ve seen inside the kitchen cabinets and in the rooms.

The location was good. But the entire building was full of short-term rentals so you can skip booking this unit and still get the same location. They had free bottled water and 2 fresh oranges. Beds and sheets were nice. Nice views from the bedrooms.

1. The air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom did not work. I barely slept. And when I called the host, they said the a/c was indeed broken, but they had it serviced. But offered no compensation, no customer service. 2. The listing on the app had the wrong phone number so initially, all communication was through the app. They asked us to email our ID'S but they never checked their email, kept on asking for our ID's through the app. I tried to call but they could not be reached by phone. I had to wait until they checked the app. It was very stressful to have no direct contact without knowing if we could check in. 3. There was a very strong cockroach smell in the drawers on the side of the cook top and the kitchen peninsula. It was awful. I informed the host to put pandan leaves inside the drawers to organically kill the cockroaches and also to deodorize the area. 4. One of the towels provided looked discolored and not very clean. 5. The sofa was stained and looked dirty. 6. Pillows were hard.

Excellent location with everything in walking distance, fantastic view from the bedrooms. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment is spacious, nice shower.

It could come with some non-perishable dry goods to help with convenience if needing to cook. Eg oil, salt, pepper, seasoning sachets, sugar, coffee.
