Shepherd's Watch Cottage - 5* Cyfie Farm with private hot tub

The place was beautiful and clean,the hot tub was amazing,,the owners was very approachable,they even left us some snacks and eggs,which was very nice 👌 thankyou 😊

The only thing was the flies,was so annoying and I got quite a bad allergic reaction to the horses so couldn't go near the animals 😢 by the way that was through no fault of the owners,it's just unfortunate

It was a family holiday, the farm animals for my wife Laura and daughter Olivia and the hot tub for me. Yes Cyfie Farm is out of the way of any towns but if you want peace and quiet and pure relaxation then this is the place to stay. I want to add that our stay was made perfect by the amazing hosting by June who always waited for my wife and daughter so they could feed the Lambs. The views were amazing which was a bonus.

My only annoyance were the flies, but with all respect its a farm so it wasn't a big issue.

Lots of fly's inside the house maybe some fly nets on windows and doors.

Every bit as accurate as the reviews left by others. Superb, beautiful and utterly peaceful this cottage ticked every box. Such a lot of thought has been put into these cottages, super welcome basket with fresh eggs from the farm and a mixture of snacks. Truly everything was perfect and beautifully clean. The animals were also delightful, well looked after and at ease with humans. The gardens are lovely with amazing views and despite the weather we enjoyed the private hot tub which was enclosed and lit by fairy lights. The proprietors were contactable but we didn’t need to as ample information and local amenities were listed in their farm book. Highly recommend for anyone wanting peace and quiet in an undisturbed idyllic location!

The location and views also the peace quite, Animals are a bonus, great place to spend quality time with family, hosts were very welcoming.

The farm is in an amazing location. It was good to walk out of the cottage and meet plenty of farm animals. The cottage was very clean and the host supportive when needed. The hot tub was very pleasant, even if there was no much privacy

There were no cleaning products for the bathroom. A few light bulbs were not working. The kitchen furniture and appliances were quite old and would probably need to be replaced. There was always a smell of humidity in the cottage, even if we opened the windows. The bedrooms had no blackout curtains, and it was hard to sleep in the morning due to the sunlight. Because of the farm, flies kept flying into the cottage. Mosquito nets on the windows would have been great.

the location was beautiful, very clean, prompt answers from owners via messages, lovely hot tub and bbq, everything provided which was a lovely bonus, home made jams and chutneys were available, farm animals around, excellent location to visit local areas and attractions

Food gifts on arrival - lovely thankyou 💕 delicious eggs. Size of property is good Remote is good - Lovely views! Great kitchen, and has everything you need. Comfy sofas. Good area for walking.

Id like softer lighting /lamp in sitting room. That would be a great addition. (but that's being super picky I know) I found it hard getting in and out of the bed as the side rails hurt the back of my legs. But im short so again, I'm being picky. My partner was fine. It is a lovely place. 😍
