Clean and well kept. Bathrooms were large and clean.beds were comfortable. Kitchen with everything you need.

The gym lacked equipment and was very sparse.

The location was more remote than we expected, however, one could go to Akumal or Tulum taking the colective busses for little money. We had to climb over rocks to get to the nearby beach, which had a lot of algae, while other beaches in Tulum were free from it.

We had a really great stay here for 4 nights of our trip. 2 Adults and three kids (15, 13, and 10). Great air conditioning. Nice swimming pool that my kids used a couple of times. Beautiful view of the jungle from the balcony. The unit also had nice blackout window covers for sleeping-in or to shade from the afternoon sun. Great working washer and dryer that we were able to use. The owner was very attentive and helpful with questions, and he quickly sent a repair person to fix one minor issue that came up during our stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying near Tulum or Akumal or Playa Del Carmen. It was a great base camp for us to take our rental car to go out and do activities in other places and come home to a lovely jungle space next to the main highway, and within walking distance from the coast. We only spent a little time exploring the ocean next to this place, because we were doing daytrips to Ek Balam (Mayan ruins) and Cenote X'Canche (really really awesome cenote next to Ek Balam, which was spectacular to swim at even when it was a really rainy afternoon), Akumal beach (swimming with turtles), Cenote Nic Te Ha (cute for a quick visit but not as impressive as many others), and Xplor Park (really great adventure park for teens). The ocean did have a number of things to see though, with iguanas and large crabs (maybe a coconut crab?) and lots of beautiful corals (fan and brain coral). We had a great time, and this place made it possible.

The accommodation was very nicely decorated, with all the amenities. We were 5 people travelling, the 3 bedrooms were very comfortable. The apartment is 3 minutes from a beautiful beach. There is also a great restaurant on the beach. You can snorkel, we saw lots of fish and rays. The beach, where you can swim with turtles in an organised tour, is 5 minutes away by car. Very modern, almost new apartment. We also had a huge terrace overlooking the jungle. Casey was always available and very willing to help with any of our requests.

We loved the balcony for coffee in the morning, the decor was beautiful, the condo was very clean, and had everything we needed!

Everything was excellent. Anything you could want was provided. The apartment and set up is gorgeous. Akumal is a lovely small town on the beach. The private beach was super. The lagoon at Yal ku was fab.
