"Exceeded expectations --- quiet and cozy -- just what we needed"

The host communicated before arrival how to access the facility and navigate while there. The place was super cozy and clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Location was great. We could be almost anywhere within 30 minutes -- especially wonderful hiking trails. The host provided local info for restaurants, etc which was helpful. Quiet community - lots of deer in the front and backyard, which was nice to see. I would definitely return at another time. I appreciate the communication from the host and the details that went into making Foxfire Haus special. well done

The additional pet fee was not communicated until after the booking. It would have been nice to know upfront any additional charges. We were charged twice for the pet fee because a third party was involved . The host was very responsive and the issue was resolved. It was frustrating because I had to go back and forth with 2 people. There was no way to get info about the additional fee until after the booking. This seems to be the case with a lot of rentals. We cancelled another facility because after we booked, there were a bunch of add on charges.
