pokoj byl velmi krásný. lokalita byla moc příjemná, hostitelstvo bylo velmi milé a vstřícné. dostatek hygienických potřeb, ručníků. celkový dům i jednotlivé místnosti byly ve velmi hezkém stavu)

trochu nás překvapila koupelna a záchod na sdíleném patře. stejně tak sdílený balkon, který jsme skrze tuto skutečnost ani jednou nevyužily, což je nám zpětně líto.

La propreté et le confort de la chambre sont super. La maison est jolie et bien décorée. Le petit frigo et la bouilloire sont appréciables car pas de petits dej de proposés et pas grand chose autour de la chambre. Les hôtes sont disponibles et rapides en cas de besoin. Maison éloignées du centre c’est vrai mais vous avez le bus a 5 minutes et qui passe très fréquemment.

La salle de bain commune (pas très clairement exprimée dans l’annonce) et pas nettoyée tous les jours, il faut donc compter sur la propreté des autres clients. Le sèche cheveux en commun sous l’escalier non disponible au moment où j’en ai eu besoin car un autre client a dû le garder dans sa chambre, un sèche cheveux pas chambre serait une bonne idée 🤞

Perfect location and very beautiful

A beautiful old Victorian house, perfectly maintained, with a super comfy bed. It's location, at the Marina end of Brighton was ideal for our plans over the two nights we stayed. Being way out east it was really quiet at night, so suited to those that like a quieter neighbourhood.

I can't think of anything negative other than seasonal swelling of our room door/frame made the door a bit stiff and loud to shut. So not a complaint, but just part of the way old buildings breathe.

Beautiful house in walking distance of the sea, close to the bus that goes into town every 5 minutes or so. Very well equipped with shower products, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bathrobes and towels. The room and entrance door are accessible by a code so there is no way of loosing a key and you have a lot more freedom with the check in. When we had an issue with opening to balcony door to air out the room we contacted the owners and they were quick to give us a helpful response, so thank you for that again!

The bathroom is in the hallway shared with everyone else as advertised, but it is the guests’ responsibility to keep it clean and some people don’t think that’s necessary. This is of course not the fault of the owners but it is important to know that you might have ignorant neighbours. The only thing that I did not like about this room were the sheets. The bed itself was very comfortable, but the blanket consisted of two loose sheets and a naked blanket in between which works out fine at the beginning of the night, but waking up you are just entirely tangled in the sheets and are basically laying with the naked blanked which I’m sure is not washed after every guest, so it seems a bit unhygienic to me…

The property is very clean, comfortable and generally well equipped, with excellent TV and Fridge. There are nice little extras obviously aimed at going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. The location was good for the Marina, walking to the Pier area or the cliff side walk to Rottingdean. We are both 69 and did over 20,000 steps in two days but there are regular Busses as well.

We had a problem with the balcony door as the key was stuck solid in the lock so we weren’t able to use the balcony. The windows didn’t open and it was impossible to turn off the heating which detracted from our visit, as it was too hot at night. We reported this by email as there is no 24 hour front desk as advertised on booking.com. In fact no help is available at any time at all except by phone or by email out of office hours. Similarly it says to collect keys from front desk but there is no front desk and we didn’t receive an email with the code. Luckily we were able to sort that with a helpful phone call. There is a lack of clarity about bathrooms and we didn’t know we had booked a shared bathroom as I searched for en-suite on booking.com if we had known that we wouldn’t have booked it. Also there is no coffee machine as advertised. Luckily I always travel with a travel coffee machine and coffee! In spite of these negatives we did enjoy our stay but make sure you read the small print if you’re thinking about staying there.

It wasn't too far from Brighton and near the Marina. The room was very comfortable and toiletries and bath robes were a nice touch. Buses into Brighton were near and frequent.

Nothing to dislike! Will definitely come back
