Absolutely great communication from the owners regarding check in and check out. Extremely simple to follow. Location of the unit is literally 2 houses from the beach! Small but quaint unit.

Maybe a little better explanation that parking in front of the unit requires you to pull in with the car facing the actual house. The term “dedicated spot on the street “ caused the people renting the unit upstairs to actually park on the street in front the unit taking up 2 spots. While parking in the street a fee houses down wasn’t an issue in September, I’d imagine parking during the summer would create an issue. Otherwise, great stay!!!!

The property has a phenomenal location. It is very convenient if the beach is how you plan to spend your days. Having a personal parking spot is a tremendous perk, as well.

The entire apartment smells musty. While a ground level walk in from the front, it is very much basement in the back. The two bedrooms were so incredibly humid and damp that the sheets felt wet to sleep in. The back bedroom has such a strong musty odor that I could not sleep there. Even with all ACs running at cool and set to 66 degrees, as well as the fan running in the bathroom, the apartment was so humid that dry towels felt wet and my hair didn’t dry even hours after showering. The apartment 100% needs a dehumidifier. Photos make the apartment seem much larger and brighter than it is. The bedrooms have no sunlight. Overall, the apartment is a glorified basement. Sadly, we had terrible weather during our stay, which forced us to be in the property more than we would have liked for our trip. Because of this, we had to leave a day early, as I couldn’t spend another night in the bedroom. Upon returning, I have to wash every item of clothing that was in the property, as they have the same musty odor on them. The owners did call us to ask about the complaint of high humidity when we notified them that we would be leaving early. He mentioned that they have never received this complaint before, yet right here on booking.com is the EXACT complaint we have. There was also a sticky note saying to keep all air conditioners running because shutting them would cause humidity. While I understand we are off the water and humidity can come with the weather, we have done MANY shore houses and have never had this issue. I would not book this property again.

The property was perfect for our get away…..steps from the beach true and what beautiful breathtaking sunsets!!!! The owners were kind, welcoming and an email away and replied promptly. We told several friends about this location they are very interested and we will definitely be returning in the future. We consider ourselves repeat travelers and this location we will definitely want to visit again ☺️
