Luxury DT Cottage - Free Parking - Self Check-In

The hostess was very kind. The location was perfect. The house is newly renovated and clean

Bathrooms are in the bedrooms We experienced a bit of a plumbing issue but they were very quick to get it fixed.

It was a super cute cottage with plenty of room for the four of us!

Felt like being home.

Everything was great. No issues.

The sheets felt as though they had not been changed. They were wrinkled and not crisp. We had no way of adjusting the heating and felt the house was cold. The outside bin was very full, despite instructions to leave the kitchen waste outside upon departure. But most of all we had no hot water from the time we checked in at 6:30pm until 10:00pm the first night and then again from 6:00am- 5:00pm the second day. Despite various phone calls and messages throughout the day, the host didn’t come to turn it back on until 5:00pm. Also, there was major flooding in the basement which we felt was very dangerous in view of all the electrical components and heating in that area. Very disappointing and we certainly did not get what we paid for.

House was clean and well equipped There were plenty of linens and supplies Appliances are in good condition and clean. Quiet and safe neighborhood and easy to walk to downtown Beds comfortable, great entertainment systems if using them, nice big dining table for meals and conversation. Nicely remodeled older home. Beautiful yard.

There was a door lock issue upon arrival that got sorted by my husband, the landlord is going to have it looked at after we departed. Someone is using the garbage or the service is not picking up as there was garbage overflowing in both the recycling can and garbage can, bags of garbage was left thrown in the bin storage area and they were very smelly and leaking, rodents were sighted. Landlord was going to have it collected. It was pretty rough. Sheets ( of which there were plenty) were left damp in the dryer and dirty towels were left in the washing machine. I rewashed the sheets and towels. Maybe it a disconnect between landlord and cleaning service

Beautiful yard and gardens

The pull out sofa was broken before we arrived and not usable. We were counting on that bed as advertised. Also one dining room chair had leg so loose it was not usable either. Furniture needs to be updated if you are going to call it Luxury. I reported to owner but got no response at all.
