Comfy beds, cabin was warm and quiet location.

When we arrived, after a 4 hour drive, there was not any hot water. I phoned the emergency number given but there was only an answer machine, nobody called back at all. By chance, by knocking on the doors of the other cabins, I found someone who could contact the maintenance man (Simon) who also lived on site. He came round and tried to sort it and had to come several times for the hot water and ended up replacing the hot water tank. Oven & hob difficult to use (no user manual). My general view on the cabins and that they are not luxury are not in a forest as stated at the time of booking and there is not a restaurant on site. If you do have any issues and you call the emergency number no one will call you back. Didn’t see anyone in reception at all. Also many have mentioned about the sofa being too small for a 4 person lodge, we thought this too as there were 4 of us staying. I had noticed that since I booked a couple of months ago a few people have mentioned about the problems with the hot water so this should have been resolved before we arrived.

The lodge was very comfortable, warm and clean, and the bed was also very comfortable. Weather was a bit bad with high winds and light rain but that didn’t stop us jumping into the hot tub which was also very nice :) we had a fantastic, relaxing weekend !

The only issue was the hot water wasn’t working, but no hassle as we boiled the kettle for hot water and the electric shower was nice and hot. Even though it was just the 2 of us, there’s also a room with 2 single beds. We plan on returning at some point with the kids and it would be better if there was another sofa for the living room.

Clean and bedrooms are very nice.

A lodge that can sleep 4 with only a small 2 seater sofa to sit on is insufficient. A few broken things and hot water at the sinks was non existent and the shower while clean has no power at all.

We had a fabulous holiday, so peaceful l, loved being in the hot tub, overlooked by trees. The stream was nice to look at. Nice walks round about and not too far from Perth. I have mobility issues and found it easy to get around. I also left my bag and my dogs bag which they are sending back. The staff were great with my mum , who asked for various things. Very obliging. We didn't need to take extras as there was dish towels, dishwasher tablets, shampoo, towels and great cooking facilities. My son who was 12 loved the hot tub, he was in and out as much as possible. Thank you for a great time. Double bed really comfy. Spacy room.

The only down size was there was 3 people needing a comfy seat and space for 2 on the sofa.

Was warm.

No hot water. No staff. Hot tub didn't work.. No instructions for hot tub. Managed to find a house keeper in the morning. Told her of the issues and was brushed off.. wasn't bothered.. shower was hot but not for long. The boiler had a button to heat water. It didn't work. Felt let down. Was our anniversary treat and was let down.. no follow up or apology.
