"Superb"

9.0

I had an amazing stay. The house was simple, clean, and homely. Superb location with a nice view and is close to the malvern Hills and just a couple of minutes' drive to Upton Marina, which has a lovely restaurant. I would come back again for a longer stay.

"It was just what I needed but a few easily rectified things would have made it much better!"

6.0

Location was great. Internet connection was fab. The kitchen was well-supplied. The view was amazing. There was central heating and a washing machine. Toiletries and washing up liquid were supplied. Towels were plentiful. When there was a problem with the key safe the host arranged for someone to come round and sort it out. Great to have onsite parking.

The property wasn't consistently clean throughout. Areas that could have been better were woodwork and carpets and the fridge wasn't terrible but didn't appear to have been cleaned and was also off with the door closed. I missed having a mirror in the bedroom or bathroom. Some of the bed slats were broken which meant the bed sloped. The duvet was very good quality but far too warm even for British summer and no other options. I didn't love the stairs but I should have known there would be a lot of stairs as I know the area.

"Superb. Just what I needed"

10.0

It was cozy and had a homely feel. That's the first thing my daughter said when she entered. The host was friendly and supportive. She provided tea and coffee sachets. She linked me up with places to sight see. The view was superb. There is a priory park a walking distance away. Close to amenities, waitrose was a walk away and some Italian restaurants.

"A neglected property, very little care has gone into it, disappointing"

2.0

Great access to the centre of town. Great access to trails into the Malvern Hills. Shower works well. Cheapest property in the area.

The apartment took me back 30 years to being a student again. The furniture and furnishings were old and battered and uncomfortable. The cleaning hadn’t been done very thoroughly, for example the oven tray still had grease in it presumably from a previous guest. The kitchen cupboards smelled of mould so we had to wash the plates and cutlery before using them. There was no curtain/blind on the window in the bedroom, which was annoying at 5am on a summer’s morning. The TV has internet access to Amazon, Netflix etc but no aerial or cable access that we could find to regular UK freeview channels. To add insult to injury, when we got home, the host Linda accused us of stealing the charger for the vacuum cleaner as well as a towel and a bag!... that’s the first time we’ve been treated like that by a host in over 10 years of using Booking.com. We took a risk given that it was cheap and advertised as new to booking with no reviews yet, but will be more careful in future.
