Loved loved loved this stay! Hosts were extremely kind and helpful. I felt welcomed from the time I made the booking to arrival and check out. Spacious kitchen and dining room with a nice table to sit at, bedroom was large and bed was comfortable. Hot chocolate and cappuccino was provided along with regular tea and coffee plus some risks. Under 15 minutes to the airport, what more do you want?? Highly recommend and will stay again.

The shower was the downer for me. The wall attachment for the shower head is so high that the water went right over my head so you have to hold it in your hand the whole time. It’s also a small space because of standing in the bath and needing a shower curtain. (But still a 10/10 stay for me.)

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. All I needed in the Johannesburg cold winter was provided. There was even a backup guess stove in case of load shedding. The place is very safe. The swimming pool would have come handy if the temperatures were a little warmer.

I enjoyed the calm, the neatness of the place, the promptiness of the hosts to serve, the amenities and all the care.

I had to travel and I couldn't enjoy it for long.

"Would recommend to spend your first night in town there as the unit is absolutely fantastic."

Felt super secure , the husband and wife both came out to greet me , they made sure I had an apple for the next day and some milk for my coffee and cornflakes . And it had a bath!! Great amount of towels , face cloths, hand towels and bath mat . Great drink selection for purchase and a lovely personalised instruction booklet The place is spotlessly clean

No heater in the room but there is a hot water bottle and the bed is really warm !! The bathroom could do with a nice renovation

This is a charming spot, incredibly accessible from OR Thambo airport, with wonderful hosts. I will definitely be returning whenever I have to overnight in Joburg and want somewhere peaceful and cosy to escape to.
