Very nice rooms, Very good hosting Easy to communicate with Clean

The room was perfect! A bit noisy outside due to traffic in the morning after 5:00 am Even the room is not far from the como center the como city busses (if you are considering use them) stop about at 10 pm so after a night walk in the city you will have to go on foot back to the room (about 15 minutes)

Carola’s Place was lovely! It was easy to find and in a location that was close to a bus stop and train station. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with clean towels and soaps, the balcony offered a pretty view (especially at sunset), and it was great to have access to a kitchen with amenities! The host was so communicative, gave clear instructions, was helpful and gracious, and it made our stay so much nicer knowing if we needed anything she was quick to respond. We hadn’t realized that the apartment wasn’t air conditioned, so we were a bit overwhelmed at first with temperatures above 30C plus humidity and only one fan to share, but we requested a second fan and the host was quick to have one dropped off at the apartment!

The only thing missing from the kitchen were cloths, sponges, and towels to be able to wash/dry our dishes, otherwise it was well stocked!

It would have been nice to have a couple of chairs to relax in after a long day sightseeing

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. We loved the bed which was really comfortable and good pillows/bedding were used. The kitchen had everything we needed including a toaster and kettle. On arrival we were met by Kiara who was lovely and very helpful. She followed up by sending me some useful information on WhatsApp and also gave us a tourist map of Como, which we used a lot.

The only small negative is that there is nowhere for a taxi or car to stop outside the property for unloading suitcases etc. The driveway area could not be used as there was a chain across it. On the day we left we had to wheel our cases 100m down the road in front of the local butcher’s shop so that the taxi could stop outside there.
