UNIT C - Sandy Toes Getaway in Kona

Very clean and spacious room. Just right for a one night stay after arriving late in the day.

It was ok. No complaints.

We stayed on the Big Island for 4 nights in 4 different places, and this was our favorite one! The room is clean and bright, with everything we needed, and the layout is very well thought out. The self-check-in process was clear, and there was plenty of parking space right by the door. You can tell the host put a lot of thought into the decoration.

Since the room is made of wood and is on the ground floor, you might hear some creaking noises when people walk around on the second floor. If you’re very sensitive to noise, you might want to reconsider.

Very close to beaches, restaurants and the airport. Affordable.

While there’s kitchen stuff there, it really didn’t make sense for us to try and use it. That part of the unit set up is a little awkward. It also doesn’t feel very private. But overall, for the price, it’s worth it.

I booked it last minute and wasn’t expecting much but I ended being a good surprise. It’s very clean, well appointed and very well situated.

Booking.com advertises this as an entire vacation house. It's not. It's a room in a house. It has no kitchen or separate entrance. It has common spaces with other rooms and the house even has permanent residents. There are 3 rooms on the ground floor that are being rented. Each room has keycode access from a narrow hallway where you meet any other people that may be staying in the other rooms - not great for safety, as you have to enter the access code with your back to other people.
