Autonomie tijdens ons verblijf. Een studio maakt dat verschil. Eigen ritme maaltijden en rust. Goed bed. Vriendelijke ondersteuning voor alles. Attent op onze noden.

Je moet er even aan wennen hoe alles anders werkt. Niet zo erg.

Het gevoel alsof je thuis komt. Mooi ingericht en alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Zeker een aanrader. Wij gaan zeker nog terug.

What can I say about this place? We've never stayed anywhere quite like it! When we pulled up to the property, we thought that there must have been some mistake, as it looked like it had not been renovated, with old cracked and rusty framed windows. However we quickly realised that behind this facade was an incredible renovation of the old black smith's forge. We entered to find a lovely kitchen, a seating area, bedroom and bathroom. All open plan with curtains separating each area. The real striking thing about this property is the stone walls and ceiling. It's basically a posh cave, complete with cobwebs and that strange smell that you get in them. As a holiday let, it's so incredibly unique that we just loved it. It's just those little details, like the lovely copper basin in the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The location is fantastic. Not far from Vianden Castle and on a lovely cobbled street. The communication from Mayke before our stay was just amazing. Every bit of information that we could want. I only realised during our stay that she owns and has renovated several properties, and I do mean to look more into these and what she and Pascal have done. The key was in a keysafe next to the front door, so we had no problems checking ourselves in. We also loved the little details, like the light under the bed that came on automatically when you put your foot down. Small things that have a big impact. I definitely want to return to this place.

There are so many opportunities to stub your toe in this property. That's not really something that I "didn't like", but more of a thing to be aware of in a property such as this. Also the "cave smell" might put some off. But for us it was more of a feature due to the nature of the property. Parking is also a problem. We were advised to park up on the main road just outside of town, which I did, but it was a bit of a walk in the morning to get the car, especially in the rain.

Espectacular alojamiento. No solo tenia de todo, no le faltaba ni un detalle, sino que también está decorado con mucho gusto. Y la propia casa es un lujazo, super bien restaurada y muy acogedora. Toda una experiencia.

Super apart, luxe uitstraling, bijzondere lokatie en leuk dat alle elementen van de smid terugkomen. Je loopt zo Vianden in en koopt een taartje met koffie bij de bakker. Verrassende lokatie, sfeervol, echt een keer meemaken! Knap gedaan.

eigenlijk niks. Je zou misschien in de zomer beter het klimaat willen regelen, maar de reden voor geen airco is duidelijk beschreven en daar konden wij helemaal achter staan. Als je binnenkomt is het in feite al lekker koel door de rotsen.
