Baymont by Wyndham Rocky Mount I-95

Nothing to be honest.

The rooms are dated and dirty and the staff is not friendly at all. They charge 20$ for a small dog which represents about 30% of my reservation cost. This fees is not advertised anywhere before booking and only disclosed when you check in. Basically, if you don’t want to pay it, you cannot stay here.

I did not like this property and will not come back

I got a phone call Thursday night at 10:30 pm stating they needed a card to hold our rooms. I said we were sleeping and Stephanie said you can call in the morning with the card. So 7:38 am I called and spoke with Douglas and said I had to call and give a card for room, he said no you can pay when you get here. He would talk to his supervisor and repeated my number and said they would call me. Never received a call. Got there at 8:15 pm and had two king rooms booked, they gave one away and only had me booked for one because I never called with my card. Didn’t seem overly willing to fix the situation- because she wasn’t there the day before she was off-she didn’t know what happened. We just drove 13 hours and I did everything on my end, they finally allowed us to get another room charged us the same price for two doubles. Then my parents get to the room and door doesn’t open. Have to go to the office and get help by this time it’s after 9 pm. The rooms were dirty and outdated. Under the sink was all ripped up, the fridge had stuff ripped all down side, floors were sticky. NOT IMPRESSED. Payed way too much. Left at 5 am.

Location Staff was friendly The lady that checked us in and fixed the tv was very friendly and responded quickly when we told her it wasn’t working

Run down Only one set of towels for 2 people Room was very dusty tv did not upon arrival.

Super clean!! It was quiet, the breakfast was very good (waffles) and some egg somethings in the fridge to microwave. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was renovated with a clean modern bathroom. The carpet passed the "sock test", didn't dirty my socks, super clean!! AC/heat worked good, no funky smells and the room smelled great!! I definitely recommend this hotel!!

Because of the carpet, it wouldn't be good for pets which I didn't have on this trip. Perhaps their "pet rooms" hopefully have laminate floors.

I ended up leaving and going to another hotel because of the condition of my room. When I requested a refund due to feeling unsafe and the dirtiness of the room I was denied.
